Postcard Guidelines

The postcard is your blank canvas, anything goes! They should all be handmade and original (although you can alter a store-bought postcard to make it your own), with a nice message on the back. This message can be a short "Have a great day!", a poem, a quote, you name it. Maybe you can write something cheerful or encouraging, because maybe your recipient is having a bad day and could really use it. This is your chance to express yourself and be heard (seen?), so be creative and have fun with it! You can use 4"x6" index cards to make your postcard or any other mailable material. Here are some links that might be helpful for creating and mailing your postcard:

Before you send your postcard, please scan the front and back and keep it for your records. This will make sure that your art isn't lost forever in the event that it gets lost in the mail, plus it'll be a nice souvenir! Then, email Gaily at Send1Get1@gmail.com and let us know that you've sent it out. This will help us keep track of the postcards.

When you receive a postcard, please scan the front and back and email it to Gaily at Send1Get1@gmail.com. This will let us know that you've received your postcard, and allow us to put it up on the blog.

Hope that sounds good to everyone, please let me know if there are any questions. Happy mailing everyone!
